Piscine Joséphine Baker

If you are in Paris but you miss a beach atmosphere, you should go to the Piscine Joséphine Baker. This public swimming pool is a very special one: it’s not only located in our arrondissement (within a 25 minute-walk from Oops) but also it is the only one in Paris to be floating on the Seine.

This swimming pool was opened in 2006 and its structure is made of glass and steel. During summer, the glass dome retreats, offering direct sunlight to swimmers. The complex counts with a solarium and a small gym, so you can secrete your endorphins and get a marvellous suntan – who would guess that Paris could be so tropical?
